I do coaching differently, more like a sports coach than the typically vapid executive coaching. I give my opinions, specific advice, and opportunities for hands-on practice. A baseball coach doesn't teach players to hit the ball by asking things like, "What would you like to change about this situation?". She teaches and reinforces swing mechanics. You have goals. Let's get there faster.
